Tolkien\u2019s film version of Lord of the Rings. Desmazi\u00e8res's etchings have an ethereal quality due to his close attention to detail and his grasp of atmospheric light. His works are included in major museum collections around the world including retrospectives at the Rembrandthuis Museum (Amsterdam, 2004-05) Mus\u00e9e Carnavalet ( Paris, 2006-07)\u00a0 Mus\u00e9e Jenisch (Vevey, Switzerland 2007).
