Charlotte Leene (1952, NL) studied at the School of Applied Arts in Amsterdam, afterwards worked in advertising and illustration. This experience is reflected very clearly in her paintings composition through the clothing of its models, the light and colors blends. Her career has included illustrations for a variety of children’s books and her work is found in private collections throughout the Netherlands. Charlotte Leene specializes in portrait commissions. Charlotte Leene (1952, NL) studeerde aan de Hogeschool voor Toegepaste Kunsten in Amsterdam en werkte daarna in de reclame en illustratie. Deze ervaring komt heel duidelijk tot uiting in de compositie van haar schilderijen door de kleding van de modellen, het licht en de kleuren die zich vermengen. Haar carrière omvatte illustraties voor verschillende kinderboeken en haar werk is te vinden in particuliere collecties door heel Nederland. Charlotte Leene is gespecialiseerd in portretopdrachten.
